Donna Maywar joined the vice provost for institutional equity and diversity’s team in 2014. In her role as assistant director for equity compliance, she manages the University’s equal opportunity and affirmative action efforts and also engages diversity partners throughout the university. Donna earned a bachelor of science from Thomas Edison State University. She has worked in human resources in areas of Pharma from the Contract Resource Organization (CRO) to generics, and according to her, Higher Ed is similar to those industries because of the extensive research obligations. She is member of the Society for Human Resource Management and holds the Senior Certified Professional, SHRM-SCP.
