Bhuvan Shori serves as our equity and diversity administrative assistant, in which capacity she provides executive level support to the Title IX administrator, the vice provost for institutional equity and diversity and other staff members involved in Title IX activities within the Institutional Equity and Diversity unit. In addition to interacting with students, faculty and staff members, she has an integral role in managing the timeline and documentation for all reported cases of sexual misconduct at Princeton University. Bhuvan also works on coordinating special diversity events and projects in our office. From 2008 to 2015, Bhuvan worked at Princeton’s Office of the General Counsel where she provided legal and administrative support to the senior University counsel, and prior to working at OGC, Bhuvan worked at NYC law firms. Bhuvan has served as a member of the executive committee of the Council of the Princeton University Community (CPUC) for 2012-13, office representative for the United Way Campaigns and Special Olympics and currently serves as president of the South Asian Affinity Group (SAAG). Outside of Princeton, Bhuvan volunteers as a Cluster I teacher on Saturdays at the Vivekananda Vidyapith, and as youth counselor during summer youth retreats at Shanti Mandir.
