As Acting Director, Global Safety & Security, Chris leads the unit’s intelligence analysis program and manages development of the University’s global emergency response capabilities.

An experienced government security analyst and, more recently, a security manager for an airline, Chris has spent 10 years overseas with the preceding 6.5 years based in Hong Kong working across East and Southeast Asia.

Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London and a master’s degree in International and Public Affairs from the University of Hong Kong.

Outside of work, Chris spends time supporting animal rescue efforts.
