Farheen Choudhary joined the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity in 2021. In her role as the Institutional Diversity and Inclusion Education Specialist, she designs, delivers and manages learning opportunities for academic units and is responsible for the development and implementation of a multi-year professional development action plan to address the University’s recommendations to strengthen diversity and inclusion related professional development across academic departments. Before Princeton, Farheen founded and led a professional development start-up specializing in leadership development and diversity and inclusion training, and she has served as adjunct faculty since 2011 at Rider University and Middlesex County College teaching Diversity and Inclusion Management and Public Speaking. She is passionate about mentorship for marginalized groups, and serves as a mentor at the Women’s Leadership Council at Rider University. Farheen earned her undergraduate degree in Business and Communication from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, and her Master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Rutgers University. Outside of Princeton, Farheen serves as the Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce, and she enjoys going to Denmark to visit her family and friends.
