Bio/Description

As Director of Global Safety and Security (GS&S), Jaime oversees a team that enables domestic and international mobility, coordinates support for those experiencing incidents and crises, and offers governance and assurance on institutional risk management related to the University’s worldwide engagements.

Jaime joins us from the University of Notre Dame where she served as the Director of International Safety and Security and she was the Global Lead of the Emergency Operations Center and Chair of the High Risk Travel Review Committee.  Before moving to higher education, Jaime held security-related positions at Crisis 24 and International SOS/Control Risks.
 
In November 2022, Jaime was appointed to the U.S. State Department’s Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC).  As one of only two higher education professionals and the youngest member on the 33-person entity, she co-chairs OSAC’s Academia Sector Committee.
 
Jaime completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at St. John’s University in New York and further graduate study at Loyola University Chicago.
