Bio/Description

Along with fellow Institutional Research Analyst La Reina Bates, Jonathan Stoessel supports the IR Office in data curation and cataloguing, survey research and data visualization. This involves collaborating with stakeholders across the university on both short and long term survey research projects and data requests. He also coordinates data submissions to AAUDE (American Association of Universities Data Exchange) and maintains content on the Office of Institutional Research webpage.

Prior to joining the IR staff at Princeton, Jonathan completed his B.S. in Secondary Education and History and M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology at Seton Hall University. After arriving at Princeton, he finished his Ph.D. in Higher Education, Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall in 2016. During that time, his specific research interests centered on social media policy/usage at institutions of higher education and the history of governance structures at colleges and universities both domestically and internationally. Jonathan currently resides in Verona, NJ with his wife Marisa and enjoys cooking and all Pittsburgh sports teams.
