Kyle Wilson
Kyle has joined the University as the Assistant Director, Global Safety and Security (GS&S), bringing nearly 20 years of security expertise from his previous tenure in the government and private sector. Kyle will be focused on the development and implementation of the travel security training program, with a particular concentration on high-risk travel preparedness, as well as the management and oversight of the traveler enrollment program. He will ensure trips sponsored by the University are done in compliance with policies and that travelers are supported when incidents and crises occur.
Throughout his government career he focused on strategic and tactical operations that ensured the protection of travelers and valuable assets across over 36 countries world-wide. In his tenure with the State of New Jersey he established the Overseas Travel Security Program and took the helm as its inaugural Administrator. Additionally, Kyle's expertise was leveraged by the U.S. Secret Service, where he was a vital member of the Presidential Protective Detail, overseeing comprehensive global security programs.
While in the private sector, he pioneered a robust risk management program, emphasizing the safety of international travelers by identifying and addressing threats for a major Fortune 100 institution.
As an avid hockey fan, Kyle and his family are regular attendees to Princeton hockey games.
